I may need to try something else on the menu, but the Brisket was not for me, I'm happy the sauce was on the side, it taste like the typical bottled sweet sauce you'd get in the grocery store. It's a pass for me. Left disappointed 😞 The Coleslaw was disgusting. The Brussels sprout, is what has the best season, as far as flavor goes. I wanted to try a new barbecue place, but I'll stick with the old one. I can say there's a good variety of sides. I must mention the service to go is lacking. There is a fee of 5% to packaged to go, and does that not come with napkins nor utensils. This was an order to go, so the dining experience may be better.

Heads & Tails in Berkeley is a fantastic spot to watch the World Cup games. The staff is incredibly accommodating and knowledgeable about the menu. Every dish I tried was absolutely delicious! I visited to watch the Mexico vs. Ecuador match, and the atmosphere was electric. It was a packed house, but in a positive way. The fans were courteous, and despite the drinking, tension, and crowded space, we all managed to get along. They even have their own parking lot across the street. Overall, I can’t wait to return to Heads & Tails because our experience was so enjoyable. I’m looking forward to savoring their delicious barbecue food and the friendly wait staff.

I don’t understand why all these “local guides” are saying the food is so good. This was the most disappointing meal I’ve had in a while. Everything was too salty. Ribs were not tender. Brussel sprouts had a weird seasoning on them. Mac and cheese was like cheap buffet card board flavored style. Service was good tho at least but not coming back for food.

Had an enjoyable experience at HTBBQ. The service was swift, welcoming and friendly. The food was delicious; the Dino rib, the oxtail poutine and fried cornbread was hittin.’ What’s great is they have happy hour from 3-6 and a different special, daily. Plenty of parking nearby. I’d definitely recommend.

The family came in to enjoy the venue on a Monday night. We found out happy hour is served all day on Monday. Bonus! We had a group of 7, so decided on the Smoke Show entree. It was so much food 🤤. We had a side of shells and cheese, brussel sprouts, beans, and a salad. As well as fries and beef tips. Everything was delicious. It was very busy by the time we finished dining, but had no problem sitting when arriving for dinner just after 5 pm.
